Soaring majestically above the tranquil western Victorian
Village situated one mile from the base, Crested Butte is
breathtaking on its own. The town, which boasts the highest
concentration of Victorian buildings in Colorado,
is known as the "Wildflower Capital of Colorado"
and goes by the motto "A National Historic District."
While it may be smaller than most resorts overall, what Crested
Butte offers in terms of a top-notch ski holiday more than
makes up for any seeming lack of quantity. The town boasts
outstanding advanced skiing, and the skiing itself is excellent.
