Steamboat
Skiing & Snowboarding
Steamboat is one of the larget and most diverse ski areas in Colorado. Featuring 3,000 skiable acres of terrain, the mountain offers great tree skiing, wide open meadows, long bump runs and groomed cruisers.
Gladed areas of Sunshine and Storm Peaks are Steamboat's particular claim to fame, with "champagne powder" in the trees for the most avid powder hounds. Steamboat is actually a complete mountain range consisting of Mount Werner, Sunshine Peak, Storm Peak, Thunderhead Peak and Christie Peak.
