The Ptarmigan Inn

The Banff Ptarmigan Inn is centrally located in Banff National Park only steps away from the downtown area. This mountain hotel is a great escape to the Canadian Rockies. On your vacation you can enjoy our mountain views, and numerous outdoor activities from hiking trails, canoe rides, and biking in the summer, skiing, skating, and snowshoeing in the winter. The Banff Ptarmigan Inn has something for everyone. We offer a central location, so you can park and walk to many activities, shops, restaurants, and of course mountain views everywhere. We offer a restaurant in the hotel, which serves a hot/cold buffet breakfast with omelette station daily (included in your stay). The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner. Spa services are also available on-site.

We know you like to stay connected, so we do provide free wifi, and phone calls 'at cost'.  When we travel we like to keep in touch with friends and family, so we make it easy for you to stay in touch with loved ones as well.

Your comfort is important to us, relax in our Mountain Luxury beds, and have a soak in our hot tubs, steam room, and sauna.
