VAIL MOUNTAIN - The Vista Bahn Express
lift #16 has been replaced by a new state of the art gondola
and will be the fastest gondola of its type in the World!
Vail averages 350 inches of snow every year. Don’t miss the
10th Restaurant at the top of the Vista Bahn
gondola. It is best to make a reservation and is a spectacular
place to eat at night!
The 825 acres of Blue Sky Basin contain
huge amounts of tree skiing and pristine snow covered slopes.
With this much terrain all levels of skiers will find uncrowded
lifts and trails to ski. There are many excellent intermediate
and beginner runs in the powder snow at the top of Vail Mountain.
The China Bowl and other Back Bowls
offer world class skiing for advanced skiers. If you want
to improve your skiing, the Vail Ski School is one of the
best! There are special areas for family and children's skiing
and snowboarding. On mountain dinning is great with numerous
restaurants of all types and price ranges available.

restaurants, bars and shops to be found at any ski
resort in the USA! The pedestrian village
invites you to roam the town, enjoy the après ski
activities and check out the unique village and shops. The
resort has an international flavor due to a large clientele
from all over North and South America, Europe and the Far
East. For extra excitement, don't miss Adventure Ridge
on the mountain top! There you can snow tube, snow shoe, snowmobile
or enjoy any of the four restaurants. The gondola takes you
there every day for free after 2 PM with or without a lift
ticket.
