Winter Activities In Taos Ski Valley
Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico, renowned for its expert skiing
terrain, also includes a tremendous number of beginner
and intermediate runs. Off the ski slopes you can enjoy other winter
activities, such as a guided snowshoe hike, snowmobile
tour the high country above Taos, or kick back in a hot
tub under the stars.
The whole family can enjoy the new Eis Haus conveniently
located in the Lower Plaza. Skaters of all abilities and ages will
enjoy ice skating in the afternoons and evenings all season long!
Skaters will enjoy the large built-in fireplaces with seating adjacent
to the ice.
Kids can have a blast participating in Children’s Snowsports
programs for young skiers and snowboarders. Reservations are required.
Bring your own sled and take a run on the sledding hill
next to the Edelweiss Lodge and Spa and Gondolita. Other activities
include ski & snowboard lessons at the Rio Hondo Learning Center,
snowshoeing and snowmobiling adventures.
